Nitinaht Campground

Operated by the Ditidaht First Nation on the shores of Nitinaht Lake on Vancouver Island's remote west coast, this campground serves as the gateway to Parks Canada's third entrance to the West Coast Trail. The Ditidaht Nation also operates the famous Windsurf Park Campsite at the lake, blending outdoor adventure with a living Indigenous cultural landscape that has been cared for for over 5,000 years. For cyclists on the Vancouver Crossing Loop, it offers a rare overnight option deep in the wilderness with both drive-in and walk-in camping, plus cabin and room accommodations.
