The Museum & Archives of Vernon (MAV) is a not-for-profit community institution tracing Greater Vernon's history from Indigenous heritage through settler times, housed in a civic complex that opened in 1966. It operates permanent, temporary, and virtual exhibits alongside one of the most respected archival research facilities in BC. Touring cyclists visiting Vernon will find rotating thematic exhibits, historical programming, and a connection to the region's deep Syilx and Okanagan Nation roots.
