BC Wildlife Park is a non-profit wildlife park and rehabilitation centre in Kamloops, BC, operating since 1965 and home to nearly 200 animals representing 65 species native to British Columbia, including cougars, wolves, bears, and the only Kermode bear in human care in the world. Many animals are permanent residents after being rescued or orphaned. The 18,000 sq. ft. Discovery Centre houses interactive exhibits, a reptile display, a gift shop, and the Blue Heron Cafe, making it a worthwhile stop for touring cyclists exploring the Kamloops area.
