Garibaldi Park

Garibaldi Park is a spectacular BC provincial wilderness park in the Coast Mountains, 64 km north of Vancouver, anchored by the 2,678 m peak of Mount Garibaldi and featuring over 90 km of established hiking trails through alpine meadows, glaciers, and glacier-fed lakes. The park spans multiple backcountry zones — including Black Tusk, Garibaldi Lake, Wedgemount Lake, and Cheakamus Lake — each accessible via separate trailhead access roads. Touring cyclists riding the Sea to Sky corridor will find it a premier natural landmark, though the backcountry is demanding and full self-sufficiency is required.
