Hanna-Tintina Conservancy
Hanna-Tintina Conservancy is a remote wilderness area in northwest BC near Meziadin Junction, encompassing the watersheds of Hanna and Tintina Creeks with steep timbered hillsides, alpine slopes, and extensive wetlands. It protects critical salmon spawning habitat—approximately 75 percent of Nass River sockeye spawn here—along with provincially significant grizzly bear habitat and moose winter range. Touring cyclists on Highway 37 or 37A pass through this area, but should note there are no developed visitor facilities.
