A 42-hectare nature reserve on Galiano Island protecting one of the last intact tracts of mature and old-growth Coastal Douglas-fir forest in the Southern Gulf Islands. The reserve stretches from Trincomali Channel to the island's central ridgeline, encompassing rare Garry Oak woodlands, creek and wetland habitats, and 600 metres of undeveloped coastline. Established in 2024 by the Galiano Conservancy Association through Canada's Old Growth Nature Fund.
