Texada Island Museum
The Texada Island Museum, operated by the Texada Island Heritage Society, preserves and presents the remarkably rich history of Texada Island — from First Nations occupation and early Spanish charting to a 19th-century mining boom so scandalous it toppled the provincial government of Amor de Cosmos. The museum also maintains archives and hosts community events, making it a cultural hub for the small Van Anda community that cycling tourists reach via BC Ferries. Admission is by donation.
