A free, three-area rec site strung along the shores of Bobtail Lake in open Douglas Fir country, with pit toilets, a boat launch, and good fishing for rainbow trout, kokanee, and burbot; the catch is 35+ km of Forest Service road to reach it, so plan for a self-sufficient overnight.
