A 26.5-hectare conservation area on Galiano Island featuring over 1 km of undeveloped coastline along the northern half of Cable Bay, acquired by the Nature Trust of BC in 2022. The area is traditionally known as Qw'xwulwis, the Hul'qumi'num word for the action of paddling, and was historically an important gathering place for Coast Salish Peoples before and after crossing the Strait of Georgia. Public trails run along the shoreline and inland edges as part of the 600+ hectare Mid-Island Protected Areas Network.
