Rotary Interpretive Centre
The Rotary Interpretive Centre is a volunteer-run nature education facility within the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, built and donated by the Chilliwack Rotary Club in the early 2000s and now welcoming over 20,000 visitors annually. Staffed by knowledgeable volunteers who provide maps and answer questions, it also houses the Blue Heron Gift Shop and is renowned as a bird-watching destination with year-round stocked feeders. Touring cyclists passing through the Sumas Prairie area will find a genuinely welcoming community stop open nearly every day of the year.
