Stop of Interest 59 - Britannia Mine
Britannia Mine Museum is an award-winning National Historic Site on the Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler, occupying the former site of what were the British Empire's largest copper producers from 1930–35. Touring cyclists can rumble aboard an underground train, pan for gold, and take in the multi-sensory BOOM! experience inside the historic Mill No. 3. The site is a natural stop on the Sea to Sky cycling corridor, drawing visitors heading between Vancouver and Squamish.
