Upper Campground
The upper of two campgrounds at Sproat Lake Provincial Park, reached via Highway 4 fifteen minutes west of Port Alberni, sits above the lake and connects to the waterfront beach by a trail through a highway underpass. Warm swimming, windsurfing, and nearby access to K'ak'awin — one of BC's finest petroglyph panels — make this park worth stopping for despite the campground being a step removed from the lake.
