The Pillar
The Pillar (also known as Pillar Rock) is a protected BC Parks site 11 km northwest of Falkland, established to preserve a striking conglomerate stone hoodoo formation. A steep trail leads to the pillar in about 15 minutes, rewarding hikers with a distinctive geological landmark in the Thompson region. The park is a simple day-use natural area with no on-site infrastructure, making it a rugged but scenic detour for cyclists exploring the Falkland-Chase Road corridor.
