The Learning Farm
The Langley Learning Farm is a community-based food production demonstration site located at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum on parkland within the Agricultural Land Reserve. Established in September 2020, it is a student-led initiative where Grade 11/12 students from Langley Secondary School tend growing beds, a hoop house, and a fruit-bearing hedgerow as part of an experiential Environmental Science course. Public informational signage explains the project, making it a modest stop for cyclists curious about urban agriculture and food security efforts in the Fraser Valley.
