Joan Blakeborough Museum
A community history museum housed within the North Bend Community Center, preserving the story of this small Fraser Canyon railway town from the 1800s to the present day through school browse binders, census sheets, military lists, family histories, and a model railway depicting the original town site. Operated by volunteers of the Boston Bar-North Bend Historical Society, the museum draws former residents, genealogists, and curious travellers passing through the canyon. The outer building holds larger artefacts, and an active thrift store and community garden share the same grounds.
