Hell's Gate
Hell's Gate Airtram is an iconic Fraser Canyon attraction near Boston Bar, BC, where a Swiss-built aerial tramway descends 157 metres into one of the most dramatic river gorges in North America. At the bottom, visitors can explore a suspension bridge, fisheries exhibit, gold panning, and Simon's Cafe overlooking the Fraser River churning through a channel only 110 feet wide. Sitting directly on the Trans-Canada Highway roughly halfway between Vancouver and Kamloops, it is a natural landmark stop for cyclists touring the canyon corridor.
