Pebble Beach Recreation Site
Pebble Beach Recreation Site protects several kilometres of undeveloped shoreline and beaches on Galiano Island in the area known to Hul'qumi'num-speaking peoples as Qw'xwulwis. The reserve encompasses a rare archaeological site, mature Coastal Douglas-fir forest, and lands managed by the Galiano Conservancy as part of a long-running ecological restoration program. It is part of the broader Qw'xwulwis – Cable Bay Conservation Area and offers a striking natural coastal setting for visitors arriving by bike or ferry.
