Historic Hat Creek Ranch

Historic Hat Creek Ranch is a Province of BC-owned National Historic Site spanning nearly 130 hectares along one of the last publicly accessible stretches of the original Cariboo Wagon Road, with buildings dating to as early as 1860. Touring cyclists can stop for a meal at the ranch-inspired restaurant — featuring fresh, locally sourced, and Indigenous-inspired cuisine — on a sundeck, patio, or in an air-conditioned dining room. The site also offers a range of overnight stays from powered RV sites to family cabins and a covered wagon, making it a compelling overnight stop on a multi-day route through the Thompson region.
