Trethewey House Heritage Site
Trethewey House is a 1920s heritage home built for B.C. timber baron J.O. Trethewey, restored to its circa-1925 appearance and operated as a history museum by the non-profit MSA Museum Society in Abbotsford. The Arts and Crafts-style house was constructed of first-growth fir milled at the family's own Abbotsford Lumber Company and features bricks made from locally mined clay. It serves as a living record of the Fraser Valley's early industrial and domestic history.
