Ancient Forest / Chun T'oh Whudujut Provincial Park
Ancient Forest / Chun T'oh Whudujut Provincial Park protects a portion of the only inland temperate rainforest in the world, located on Highway 16 midway between Prince George and McBride. Touring cyclists can explore thousand-year-old western redcedars via a 450-metre universal access boardwalk and an additional 2.3 km of boardwalk leading to old-growth giants and a cascading waterfall. The park sits in the traditional territory of the Lheidli T'enneh and is considered one of BC's must-see hiking destinations.
