Skeena Bakery

Skeena Bakery is an artisan bakery and coffee shop in New Hazelton, operated by the not-for-profit Skeena Supported Employment Society, which provides supported employment and training for people with disabilities in the Hazeltons. The bakery turns out an extensive range of handmade breads — sourdough, dark rye, spelt, and more — using organic ingredients, alongside sweet treats and savouries served with locally roasted Mercedes Beans coffee in its shop-front cafe. It supplies both retail customers and wholesale accounts across northwest BC, making it a genuine community anchor on the Highway 16 corridor.
