Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum

The Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum is a new purpose-built public art museum on SFU's Burnaby Mountain campus that opened in Fall 2025, consolidating SFU Galleries' collections into a single, more accessible facility. It mounts contemporary visual art exhibitions, public commissions, residencies, and a wide array of public programs rooted in decolonial and interdisciplinary approaches. The museum sits directly beside the SFU Transit Exchange at the top of Burnaby Mountain, making it a notable cultural destination reachable from across Metro Vancouver.
