Castlegar Museum
The CPR Station Museum occupies a beautifully preserved 100+ year old Canadian Pacific Railway station in Castlegar, considered one of the finest remaining examples of its kind in British Columbia. The museum explores the railway and pioneer heritage of the Columbia River Valley through exhibits, newspaper archives, and a restored station agent's residence on the upper floor. The same society also manages nearby Zuckerberg Island Heritage Park, featuring a Russian Orthodox-influenced chapel house, a 473-foot military-built suspension bridge, and over 8 hectares of river woodland trails.
