VIRL: Port McNeill Branch
The Port McNeill Branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library is a public library serving a remote community on northern Vancouver Island, on the unceded traditional territory of the Kwakwaka'wakw peoples. Established in 1972 and at its current Broughton Boulevard location since 1990 (renovated 2006), it is a rare indoor rest point in a small, isolated town. Touring cyclists will find free WiFi and public computers available during branch hours.
