Seal Bay Regional Nature Park
Seal Bay Regional Nature Park is a forested nature reserve managed by the Comox Valley Regional District on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island near Courtenay, also known by its K'ómoks name Xwee Xwhya Luq. The park encompasses old-growth woodland and provides trail access toward the Strait of Georgia shoreline, making it a scenic detour or destination for cyclists exploring the Comox Valley. It is one of the larger intact natural areas remaining on the eastern Vancouver Island lowlands.
