Comox Valley Rhododendron Garden
The Comox Valley Rhododendron Garden is a community garden established in 1996 through a partnership between the North Island Rhododendron Society and the City of Courtenay under the 'Partners In Parks' program. It now contains 7 beds with over 130 rhododendron varieties, including the 'BOVI' bed featuring only plants hybridized on Vancouver Island. The garden sits along the public walking path between the Historic Train building on Cliffe Ave. and the Courtenay Airpark, making it easily accessible to cyclists travelling through the area.
