Hurford Hill Nature Park

Info · Park / Nature · Sandwick (Vancouver Island) · Free

Hurford Hill Nature Park is a 10.7-hectare urban nature reserve donated to the City of Courtenay in 1996 and protected in perpetuity by the Comox Valley Land Trust. It forms a critical link along the Valley View Greenway and shelters native species alongside Glen Urquhart Creek's salmon habitat. Cycling is explicitly encouraged within the park, making it a worthwhile green-space stop for cyclists travelling the Comox Valley.
