Founded in 1958 and operated by the Princeton and District Museum and Archives Society, this community museum houses an impressive range of collections including over 40,000 fossil and mineral specimens, a First Peoples basket display, approximately 10,000 historic photographs, and an original 1880s cabin. It has grown from a small log cabin to a multi-wing facility and is widely praised as one of the best small-town museums in BC. Touring cyclists interested in the natural and human history of the Similkameen Valley will find it a rewarding stop.
