BC Liquor Store in Gold River is a provincial government-run retail outlet selling wine, beer, spirits, ciders, and non-alcoholic alternatives. Located in a small, remote Vancouver Island community, it may represent the only opportunity for multi-day touring cyclists to resupply with beer or wine before continuing into the backcountry. Staff can advise on product selection but the store is not oriented toward cycling services.
