Thorsen Creek Conservancy
Thorsen Creek Conservancy is a BC Parks protected area located approximately 10 kilometres southeast of Bella Coola, established as part of the Central Coast land use decision. It is home to one of the largest and most significant collections of petroglyphs on the British Columbia coast, holding deep cultural heritage significance to the Nuxalk First Nation. The conservancy also protects valuable fish habitat along Thorsen Creek, a tributary of the lower Bella Coola River.
