Hell's Gate Airtram
Hell's Gate Airtram is a Swiss-built cable car that descends 157 metres into the dramatic Fraser Canyon gorge near Boston Bar, carrying up to 22 passengers per cabin at a time. Operating since 1970, it sits at one of BC's most geologically and historically significant spots — a 35-metre-wide passage where the full force of the Fraser River is squeezed through sheer canyon walls. At the gorge floor, visitors can explore a suspension bridge over the International Fishways, a fisheries exhibit, gold panning, and a fudge factory.
